Opera to Street Choir . . . in a week – and Taize, Gospel and Mozart Mass coming up before Christmas. There’s so much more than ‘Sunday Mass’ attracting people to St Canice’s in Elizabeth Bay here in Sydney.
After Sunday Mass, members of the Sydney Street Choir entertain with rousing ‘Spirituals’ and other familiar songs from the steps of the church, while others of their group serve us with morning tea.

An Afternoon of Opera by friends of Pascal from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music – Accompanists Ben and Michael and the singers Anna, Pascal, Rebecca, Jenny,Audrey Amanda and Daniel with Father Chris
Baritone Daniel Macey and mezzo soprano Anna Dowsley sing a duet from Cosi fan Tutti – ‘Il core vi dono’. Anna recently won a prestigious Opera Australia scholarship to study in New York next year, as well as winning the Australian Singing Competition.

KINGS CROSS FESTIVAL GOSPEL MASS
As part of the Kings Cross Festival, the Cleftomaniacs sing a selection of songs before Mass, including Southern Spirituals, and Carols in German, French, Spanish and Calypso
