Our parish is powered by over 400 volunteers who share their energy and experience – we’d love you to join our volunteer community.

Volunteering at St Canice’s is a hands-on way to support people in the local community while being part of something bigger. Through initiatives like St Canice’s Kitchen and the Op Shop, volunteers help provide meals, services, and a welcoming environment for those doing it tough. Whether it’s serving food, helping behind the scenes, or simply spending time with guests, volunteering at St Canice’s Parish is about building dignity, connection, and community.

 

Below are the Parish volunteer programs currently available:

Op Shop (Wednesday – Saturday)

Shop Attendant (10 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)

Help sort donations and sell clothing and vintage items.

Liturgy Volunteer & Reader

Reader (Mass Times)

Help prepare for liturgical events and Mass at the parish.

Once we receive your submission, we’ll send you the available dates so you can start scheduling your first shifts. We’re truly grateful for your willingness to share your time and energy with our community, your support makes everything we do possible.
