ST CANICE’S OP-SHOP

Look Good. Do Good. Waste Less.

Our Op-shop is open four days a week, raising money to support the works of the parish while also allowing us to donate clothes to our kitchen guests.

Our community op-shop has just moved into a bigger space right next door to St Canice’s Kitchen! We are open 4 days a week from Wednesday – Saturday 10am – 2pm. If you have clean clothes, accessories or other goods that you would like to donate, you can drop them directly to the op-shop when it’s open. If you have any designer clothes that you would be willing to donate please get in touch with Erica@stcanice.com.au

We ACCEPT clean, wearable clothing, designer wear, shoes, and accessories – bags, jewellery, sunglasses etc

 

ITEMS WE DO NOT ACCEPT:

  1. Homewares
  2. Bedding (blankets accepted in winter months)
  3. Electrical goods
  4. Underwear or swimwear
  5. Any dirty or soiled clothing
  6. TVs, computers, IT goods
  7. Baby & child safety items

We ACCEPT clean, wearable clothing, shoes, and accessories.

 

 ITEMS WE DO NOT ACCEPT

  1. Unsafe, Unhygienic or Damaged Items
  • Soiled, mouldy, or contaminated clothing or linen
  • Torn or stained clothing not suitable for resale
  • Used underwear, socks, hosiery, or swimwear (unless new with tags)
  • Pillows, mattresses, and bedding (unless clearly marked safe and approved by regulations)
  • Items with strong odours (mould, smoke, animals, or chemicals)
  • Blankets are not needed in summer months
  1. Electrical and Electronic Goods (unless tested and tagged)
  • TVs, computers, heaters, toasters, hairdryers, etc.
  • Electrical appliances that haven’t been safety tested and tagged by a qualified person
  1. Large Furniture and Bulky Items
  2. Baby and Child Safety Items
  • Cots, prams, car seats, highchairs, bassinets, or walkers that don’t meet current Australian Standards
  • Baby bottles, teats, or dummies
